Milan Fashion Week meet Handmade on EtsyItalia

Il mese più importante per la moda primavera/estate 2012 con Parigi si avvia alla conclusione; su Etsy Italia il focus è su Milano, dove la settimana della moda si è da poco conclusa ospitando gli stilisti ambasciatori nel mondo del gusto ed eleganza italiani.

Cominciamo subito:

Gucci - Motivi geometrici in nero e oro dominano la scena, assieme a frange e lustrini che rimandano ad un charleston, rivisitato in chiave moderna; applausi per Frida Giannini, direttore creativo di Gucci. Tra i venditori Etsy italiani ecco un oggetto che segue il trend di accostare nero e oro: la collana in pelle borchiata di Chickslab, meno anni ’20 e più futuristica, ma ugualmente molto bella.

Dolce & Gabbana - Propone per la prossima estate una collezione molto variegata che passa per abiti bustier con stampe di melanzane e pomodori, pizzi fioriti in toni pastello, nero o arricchiti da pietre colorate e paillettes, i miei preferiti. E da Etsy una collana di Sobby che mixa corallo e turchese illuminati dall’argento, unione perfettamente estiva.

Gabriele Colangelo - La nuova stella nel firmamento della moda italiana, presenta a Milano una collezione che vede modelli dalle linee pulite e tessuti impalpabili; le tinte sono per lo più neutre con una predilezione per il monocromatico accostato a tocchi neon e parti in organza lisce o con lavorazioni di paillettes blu mare. In Etsy ho scelto una coppia di orecchini in carta di Manufactapaper, che per geometria ed essenzialità mi ricordano questo modello di Colangelo.

Milan Fashion Week meet Handmade on EtsyItalia

The most important month for spring/summer 2012 fashion with Paris comes close to the end, but Etsy Italy focuses on Milan, where the fashion week has just ended hosting designers bringing worldwide taste and elegance of Italian fashion. Let’s start:

Gucci, black and gold geometric pattern, fringes and sequins suggest a modern Charleston, congratulations to Frida Giannini, Gucci creative director. Among Etsy Italian sellers here’s the item matching black and gol style, a leather statement necklace with little gold studs made by Chickslab, less twenties and more space age , very beautiful as well.

Dolce & Gabbana, for next summer the collection is very rich with bustier dresses printed with tomatoes and Mediterranean kitchen ingredients, flower lace in pastel colors or black and finally lace dresses with gems, colored stones and sequins. From Etsy a necklace made by Sobby, the mix of coral and turquoise stones with silver parts, a perfect summer combo.

Gabriele Colangelo, a new star in the italian fashion system, the collection shows clean shapes and light fabrics, neutral teints with fluo touches and organza parts, plain or embellished with blue sea sequins. On Etsy I’ve chosen some paper earrings made by Manufactapaper, their geometric shape and baldness reminds me this Colangelo dress.

Rise your hand if you've been pleasantly overwhelmed by the trends of the soon arriving fall/winter!
I've been for sure! The fashion shows and the various collections presented have given room to colors galore,which is very strange,since in the latest years there has always been a certain strictness, in choosing the palettes for the cold season.

I was already used to see black,brown,grey in all his shades,dark blue,etc etc....
And here comes the surprise of this year :maybe due to the throughout prevailing economical crisis,fashion has almost wanted to make us a gift,giving us the chance to brighten up or winter wardrobes.

Obviously,we people of the Etsy Italia Team could not be outdone!

Most trendy colors will be:
-Turquoises and all electric or ultramarine blues
-Oranges: from the most phosphorescent to the darkest and burnt.
-Ochres and "mustard", been famous on Etsy from years on
-Fire red
-Violet in all its brightest shades
-Emerald green and peacock green

Obviously making it a jumble of colors is never advisable,but since fashion is also fun and amusement,why not to juxtapose 2 or 3 colors?
