We all are curious people...! Who doesn’t love to snoop on the back-stages of movies, fashion shows etc.?! Well, as artists and creative etsy sellers, it’s time to show our workshops and let the customers know us! It’s not important if we have a studio or, simply, a little craft space in a corner of the house: in any case, it communicates a lot about the artist and can show how the object was born, from the idea through the creative process. A recent Etsy Storque article remembers us how important is do that to promote ourselves and our work.
Inspired by this article,here are some tips and suggestions from us:
1) tidy up your craft space or leave your creative confusion,the pictures must reflect your personality and your brand;
2) take good pictures of your space: use the same attention you put in showing at best your items. Use preferably natural light, not flash, take pictures of the whole room or of the details;
3) ask a friend to take some pictures of you during the creation process;
4) show also how your items can be used (i.e.: paintings on the wall);
5) …and, of course: be creative!

Siamo tutti persone curiose...! Chi non ama ficcanasare nei “dietro le quinte” dei film, delle sfilate di moda ecc.?! Bene, quali artisti e creativi Etsy sellers, è tempo di mostrare i nostri laboratori e lasciare che i clienti ci conoscano! Non è importante che si possieda uno studio o, semplicemente, un piccolo spazio per creare in un angolo della casa: comunque esso comunica molto riguardo l’artista e può mostrare come l’oggetto nasce, partendo dall’idea, attraverso il processo creativo. Proprio un recente articolo dello Storque di Etsy, ci ricorda quanto importante sia questo aspetto, al fine di promuovere noi stessi e il nostro lavoro.
Ispirandoci a tale articolo, ecco alcuni utili consigli e trucchi:
1) metti ordine nel tuo laboratorio o lascia confusione creativa, le immagini devono riflettere la tua personalità e il tuo marchio;
2) scatta belle foto dello spazio usando la stessa attenzione che poni nel mostrare al meglio i tuoi articoli (es.: utilizza preferibilmente la luce naturale anziché il flash; fai foto della stanza completa e dei dettagli);
3) chiedi a un amico di scattare delle foto di te stesso/a durante le fasi della creazione;
4) mostra anche come possono essere utilizzati gli oggetti che crei (es.: dipinti appesi alle pareti);
5) …e, ovviamente, sii creativo/a!
